His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum is the President & Chairman of Wisal Asset Management FZCO. Under his visionary guidance, the company succeeded in handing over multiple high-rise residential and commercial towers in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
A developer par excellence, His Highness made an impact in the industry in 2008 by delivering more than 200 floors in records time despite adverse market conditions. Credits to his leading role in the restructuring, the company’s balance sheet strengthened and stood as the foremost player in the commercial real estate market.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum is also a member of Board of Directors for Commercial Bank of Dubai, in addition to previously serving on the Board of SHUAA Capital as the Executive Chairman. He is the Chairman of Dubai International Holding Company, a private investment firm with extensive experience in natural resources, mining, traditional and renewable energy. He is also known for being the founding investor of Virgin Megastores in the UAE and founder of A1 Grand Prix.
He has been prominently recognized for his leadership qualities on a number of occasions, including ‘Young Global Leader of 2007′ by the World Economic Forum, ‘CEO of the Year’ by CEO Middle East in 2008 & 2009 and Humanitarian of the Year in 2010.
Naeem Sheikh, Chief Executive Officer of Wisal Asset Management FZCO, is a seasoned and highly acclaimed professional in the property development and Property Management industry. With more than 3 decades of experience across various industry verticals, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth, strategy and commercial developments since its inception. Under his leadership, Wisal has risen to become one of the most credible and respected names in UAE Property development and property management sector.
His vision, strategy and hands-on leadership were critical in delivering various iconic high-rise towers and has played a pivotal role in the successful execution and delivery of more than 3 million square feet of high quality luxury residential and premium commercial real estate in Dubai.
